Retired Air Force Major Lamar “MARK” Eikman, age 43, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, December 27, 2005.

He spent 26 years faithfully serving his country as an Air Force Combat Controller.

Mark loved to live life to the fullest, was light hearted, funny, adventurous and always put everyone else before himself.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Eikman.

Survivors: wife, Sharon Eikman; son, Kevin P. Eikman; brothers, Erle Eikman, Vaughn Hassell, Donny Hassell and Gerald Hassell; mother, Joy Anna Eikman; parents-in-law, Patricia and Robert Muhlhauser; sisters-in-law, Sandra Lassiter, Susan Brown, Christie Goodenough; brother-in-law, Richard Jenkins; beloved family dog, Betsy and extended furry family; special friends and military Brethren, Mike Ramos and Kirby Rodriguez, with whom he shared a special bond, and Kirby’s wife, Tannen. Lamar will be dearly missed by so many people.
