I had the privilege to serves with him in Panama in the late 1960s. I was best man at his wedding to Linda Dominguez Rodriquez (de Henry).  He and I spent many a day working landing zones, drop zones and touring the interior of Panama.
He was an excellent Combat Controller with a knowledge of Central and South America that was unsurpassed.  And, he was a friend and kept me out of a lot of trouble.
