CMSgt(Ret) William L. Pack died September 21, 1992 of a brain tumor at Wilford Medical Center.

He was born December 31, 1931 in Wheelock, TX and was the son of the late R.H. and Ethel Closs Pack.

Bill retired in 1973 after having served 23 years of Honorable service with the Air Force.  His last assignment was with the 463rd Combat Control Team at Dyess AFB, TX. Among many other demanding tasks.  Bill was most instrumental in the accomplishment of psychological operations against the North Vietnamese and their collaborators while in charge of a Commando CCT.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Pack of Sherman, TX; Four sons and three daughters- in-law, Capt Ronald and Lfelta Pack of Randolph AFB, MSgt Don and Pasty Huffman of Charlson AFB, Phillip and Georfia Huffman of Atlanta, and Paul Huffman of Dension, TX; a brother, Sam and Billie Pack of Franklin, TX, and eight grandchildren.
