Will T. Tuttle, SMSgt (ret) deceased on Sunday, September 28, 2014 of natural causes at the age of 83.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife Marjorie of 52 years. He was survived by Sonja (Tom) Tate, Troy Tuttle & Jill (Carney) Steel, and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral and burial was conducted by the Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery at 5110 Gallatin Rd; Nashville, TN.

He joined the Air Force during 1948 and served in Korea, Sewart AFB, TN starting in 1953, Wiesbaden AB, Germany, NCOIC of the Combat Control Team at Ton Son Nhut AB, Vietnam during 1969. He was the first NCOIC at the Combat Control School starting in April, 1964 until October, 1968. He retired from the Air Force during 1971 after serving 23 years of outstanding service.

His main hobby was road rally crosses and drag racing. He set the world record for the fastest speed in his class in 1963 at the NHRA Nationals at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. After his military career, he opened La Vergne Foreign Auto Repair and later worked as a park Manager for the US Army Corps of Engineers. All Rights Reserved.
